The 2008 Mueller Pinot Noir Family is complete! The Wine Spectator Insider just released 07/13/2011 rated both of our “Cuvée X” and “Tempi” Pinot Noir 93 pts. 2008 turned out to be a fabulous vintage for us and we are very proud. Way to go Bob!

July 6, 2011 – Wine Spectator Insider rates and reviews two new releases from Mueller Winery. To commemorate our 20th Anniversary producing Mueller wines, we produced a few small production,  designated wines. Two of these new wines were reviewed and rated in today’s Wine Spectator Insider. The 2008 Mueller “August Recher” Pinot Noir was rated 94 pts and included in the “Hot Wines” category. In addition, our 2008 Mueller “Eastside” Pinot Noir was rated 92 pts. Both wines are from the Russian River Valley appellation.

“August Recher” is winemaker, Bob Mueller’s grandfather who was a winemaker and distiller in Ziefen, Switzerland in the early 1900′s.

Our second wine, the 2008 Mueller “Eastside” Pinot Noir is a tribute to the Vino Farms vineyards on Eastside Road where we have purchased our grapes for 20 years. Many thanks and much admiration to the Ledbetter family.
